Honda Jazz is also Honda Fit Crosstar

As small imitators of SUVs and their crossovers have become a rapidly growing market segment, Honda believes that it is suitable to adopt a crossover style dress for its Fit with a suitable name, namely Honda Fit Crosstar.

Looking back, the new fourth-generation Honda Jazz 2019 malaysia/Fit has just made its world premiere at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. The model will be launched in February 2020, so detailed information on the powertrain and body size has not yet been provided, but we know that it will be sold exclusively in Japan as a hybrid (most likely 1.5 liters).

There will be five variants-Basic, Family, (Fit) Nes, Crosstar and Luxe. Except for the Crosstar, none of them have a front grille, but a flush front end.

As the name suggests, Crosstar is a crossover version of Honda Jazz. It is more rideable and has SUV-like roof rails (purely as an ornament), extensions on the wheel arches, and additional cladding on the front and rear sides. We are not sure how high the Crosstar is, but parking side by side, the roofline of the Crosstar variant is significantly higher.

Inside, the Crosstar fabric has a two-tone color treatment inside, but it is the same as the other variants of the Honda Jazz, except that Luxe has a two-tone leather wrap interior.

To be clear, Honda is not the first to build a hatchback for Japan. Toyota and Daihatsu have been doing this for various models. Even Toyota Prius c (Aqua in Japan) has a Crossover variant.
