In addition to the Honda City Turbo RS 2020, which is valued by many Honda fans, Honda Thailand also showcased one of Honda’s unsold models, the Honda Jazz RS 2020.
The Jazz RS is powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that can produce 117 PS and 146 Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the front wheels through the CVT gearbox.
This is already 3 PS lower than the engine (120 PS) sold on the Malaysian market because it has been adjusted to use E85 gas to comply with Thailand's CO2 regulations.
But let's take a closer look at the difference between the RS model in Thailand and the V model sold here.
At the front, the RS model has LED headlights and daytime running lights (DRL) in addition to the sporty front bumper. The Jazz V here still retains the DRL headlights (although the design is different from the halogen headlights). The 16-inch wheel design is the same for both variants.
Steering to the rear, rear bumper and RS spoiler are only unique features of this model. Just like a city, it has black rearview mirrors with traffic lights.
The RS variant has two exclusive colors, Phoenix Orange Pearl and Platinum White Pearl. Jazz RS has automatic air conditioning and a 7-inch touch screen (larger than Malaysia's 6.8-inch), and is now equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
This is a very welcome addition because the infotainment system in the Jazz sold in Malaysia is not very good.
