How difficult is the PMP exam for beginners?

Project Management Courses exam is one of the most reputed exams for a project manager. It gives you a global recognition.

The PMP exam is quite hard and requires dedication and practice for its preparation. The beginners face more difficulty in understanding the pattern and syllabus of the PMP exam, so, it is extremely difficult for the beginners.

This exam contains 200 multiple choice questions and the time limit is 4 hours. The level of difficulty of the questions is quite high. The PMP exam has a vast syllabus and a lot of material to study. The preparation of this exam starts with the PMBOK guide by PMI, which is quite lengthy. But apart from it you also need to study other guides. So, there is a lot of study material for the PMP exam.

2. Complex exam structure

The exam pattern is quite difficult as the questions asked are of high level. There are some questions which can be answered only by your personal experience and not by the various study guides. There are so many questions, including multiple choice and theoretical questions. It also includes graph and calculation based questions.

3. The difficulty level of questions

Along with the difficult exam structure, the questions asked are quite tricky and confusing. The beginners usually get confused and lose their motivation. It takes time to understand the tricky questions and their tricks. So, this is another reason that makes the Project Management Courses exam difficult.

To pass the PMP exam, you must plan a schedule and stick to it. Practice the questions daily and refer to various guides. In addition to the 35-hour project management training, you must study by yourself and clear your concepts. You must pick the right study materials to ensure your success. You must practice the exam questions, Mock tests and prepare various books.

To pass the PMP exam, you must test yourself and check how your preparation is going and what changes you need to make to improve it.

The pass rate of the exam is quite low. Only 2 out of 5 persons pass the exam. But it does not mean that you cannot pass the exam in your first attempt. By regular practice and study, one can surely pass the PMP examination in their first try.
