How to enable cookies on Firefox, click on the red 'O' in the top left-hand corner of the window and go to Settings. Scroll down slightly and click on the Website settings option under Privacy and security.

Once you have selected the checkbox, select the options you want and make sure you select the time interval. By default, the 'All times' option is selected. However, from the drop-down menu, select options such as:

Last 24 hours
Seven days
Four weeks
All times (deletes everything since the day you started using the browser).
If you want to make additional settings, click on the Advanced tab. There you can choose to delete:
Browsing history
Click to select the option to remove the history: Download history
Message usage data
Cookies and other website information
Images and files stored in your cache
Passwords and other login information
Automatic completion of form information
Website settings
Hosted application data
Once you have made your selection, don't forget to click on the blue Clear data button in the bottom right corner.

In the next window, go to the Permissions tab and scroll down to the Set Cookies option. Uncheck the Use Default option, which is already selected, to make the Allow, Allow for session and Block options available.
This is a great option if you only want to block cookies from a few sites, but not if you want to block quite a few sites. To speed things up when it comes to different sites, go to:
