Type of Call Failed with Causes and Solutions

METHOD 1: CALL FAILED TO ONE NUMBER OR A SPECIFIC NUMBER

Is your call to a specific number going unanswered? There could be various reasons why a call to one number fails.

Step 1: A Blocked Number

You may have inadvertently blocked the person you were phoning. Go to Settings and look for Blocked numbers to confirm this.

- Look for Blocked numbers in Settings.

- You can then see if the number is blocked.

- The worst-case scenario is that the person you're attempting to contact has blocked your phone number.

You have no choice but to wait.

Step 2: Mobile Network Error

Often, the issue is with your mobile service provider. You may need to contact them for support and solutions in this case.

General Fixes and Solutions

1. Use the Dialer

On your phone's dialer, enter the number you want to call.

2. Remove Country Code

Remove the country code at the start of your phone number.

3. Toggle the VoLTE Settings

Toggle your VoLTE settings by turning them on or off. Most Android phones include it in the Connection Settings.

METHOD 2: CALL FAILED AFTER RINGING

When you call someone, the phone may ring once before failing. This could be the result of a network connection issue.

You must contact your mobile service provider in this scenario. You could also try a soft or factory reset on your phone.

Step 1: Perform a Soft Reset

By hitting the Power button, you can turn off your phone.

Then select the Power Off option. Then, please wait a few minutes before turning it back on.

Step 2: Perform a Factory Reset

All data on your device will be erased if you perform a factory reset; if you want to try this, back up your files beforehand.

- Go to Settings and select Backup & Reset or a similar option.

- Then, select Factory Data Reset.

- Then, tap Reset to confirm your action.

- Some smartphones may require you to enter your passcode before restoring your device's settings.

METHOD 3: CALL FAILED WITHOUT RINGING

There could be various reasons why a call failed without a single ring.

Step 1: The Person You're Calling Changed His/Her Phone Number

If the person you're phoning has changed their phone number, no force on Earth can make your call go through.

Your call would never be answered. It would help if you tried calling the person using messaging programs.

Step 2: Wrong Number Input

Another possibility is that you dialed the wrong number.

Before phoning, you only need to double-check the number you're dialing.

Step 3: Poor Cell Reception

When you have poor cell reception, your call may also fail.

To resolve this issue, you may need to relocate to a location with a stronger signal.

You can use cell phone signal boosters to help if you can't avoid it.
