I am a clown....

Clown as people call me

I might seem happy and carefree

I am happy to be called a lunatic

But at least pardon me from those critic

My scorn , my frown my smile have a truth underneath

A little mystery hidden beneath,

I might be the one to elevate the citizens mind

But at least respect my emotions dont be blind

I have a heart that beats and pain

I might be funny but dont call me insane

I am neither elite nor perfect

But I request please give me some respect,

Making people elated is truly my passion 

And this is the truth that I love my profession

But hey you dont undermine a clown

Cause you are unaware of my anguish and frown

Children find their euphoric with me

Then hey fools why am I considered not worth for even a rupee

Yes my hair are no less than  a ratrap 

But is it the reason I am given the society's slap

Yes my nose is hilarious like a red ball 

But that doesn't mean I should be neglected and considered small

Look at my heart so clear , look at my deeds so fair

Look at my hope undetered, praise me and let me feel flattered.  

I am a clown  as people call me 

I might seem happy and free 

Dive into my life and see 

I am a little soul creating a "me"
