I changed

At the end of the day, I see myself all alone locked within the four walls. Then you came by my side like the day comes after the night. You recognised the person behind my mask. You passed through the walls i built. Tried to break it but I didn't let you. You tried harder and then more harder, you failed. It's not you who failed, it's me. 

You left.

Pushing me back into the darkness. 

It's not your fault, it's mine.

I didn't let you come into my life. I didn't want my life to be known. But, no one has ever tried this hard like you did. 

You, I changed.

I changed surrendering to the situations, reality, experiences and time. But now, you changed too. 

I know it's not your fault.

It was all about your situations, your reality, your experiences and your time. 

My life is already a mess.

I'm trying to clear it, to stay happy, to make everyone happy. I fail each time I take a step. But I know I'll win someday. That day I'll create my own path from that darkness into the world that's in the light. 

For now,

I can't let you come. There are just the wounds that are yet to heal, the time that is yet to recover, the past that is yet to leave and my soul that is yet to be pure and grow. 

I need myself and should let you go because I have changed.
