I Dreamt of Notre Dame

You start to feel the wine from Rue de la Colombe as your head feels happy and the music playing in your ears feel more alive than ever. You could dance; throw everything you have in your hands and just groove to the tunes, lose yourself in the Paris air. You found a perfect order in the chaos as the streets were dotted with people, but none intervening with the fire within you. You open your eyes and realize you have been prancing on the streets for quite sometime now.
You see the chapel in front of you. A prehistoric figure, now a relic. You can only imagine the times when you snuck out to come and admire it's grandeur. The treasury of Notre dame, which you sat and studied intently and just like that, found yourself lost in its enchantment. It gave you the comfort you felt in a lover's arms. Embracing you, laying soft, warm kisses on your skin.
The Chapel is barely recognizable now, but the spell it cast on you everytime, still prevails. Notre Dame looked like a fallen angel, wounded yet possessing an angelic beauty. You don't know how long you've been sitting on the chapel's frontage, but you know that you could be there for an eternity.
