Or so you thought.
It all starts with falling in love. Falling deeply in love, not just merely falling in love. All of these feelings are new to you, and there is a thrill and excitement every time you look into his eyes or when he smiles.
Every moment you spend with that person appears to be perfect, and occasionally you simply close your eyes and hope that this enchanted feeling and point in time will not fade. However, not all fairytales end happily ever after. Sometimes there is a complete blackout.
Imagine dancing with your prince while your favorite music is playing in the background, and then the lights go out, and when they come back on, he is gone.
Shocking. And admit it, it hurts so much that you wish you could rip your heart out of your chest and sew it back together after being torn apart.
Ouch!
Loving hurts. No, loving someone deeply hurts so bad.
Before you burst into tears, let me remind you that no one, and I mean no one, can predict how a story will end.
So, if you fall madly in love with someone and, as you fall deeper in love with him, he suddenly leaves you, don't chase him. Because people leave your life for a reason. It's okay to cry and mourn your lost love, but don't let it cause the devastation of your entire life.
You must remember that the Master Planner does not remove someone from your life in order to break you as a person. He uses your desires and expectations to teach you a lesson, plausibly in the most painful manner possible.
We can't really process new learning unless we experience it firsthand, can we?
And when you finally get through all of the pain, or when all of your tears dry up, you'll realize he's not worth it at all.
He does not deserve the tears you cried.
He is not deserving of late-night regrets.
He does not deserve your booze-soaked kidney.
You'll eventually convince yourself that they're all for you; for being naive and losing your sanity for someone who doesn't even care about your existence. And when you finally realize your worth, you will promise yourself that you will remain single no matter what.
You will no longer waste your love; a rare true love.
You will no longer spend your time with a man who is too busy for you.
You will no longer give your all to impress someone who will take it away from you in an instant.
You'll soon realize that you deserve everything you could do for a man. They call it self-love.
But until when?
