There are a lot of trends in this world. A big booty, a thick make-up and sexy clothes. This is what the society really wants. It is appealing in their eyes. It is the greatest achievement for all the girls out there.
Beauty. Fame. Appealing.
I am literally different from these words.
I may not be beautiful in societies' eyes but I'm confident. I may not be famous with so many people but I know who I can trust. I may not be lovable but I can give you love anytime. And now, ladies and gentlemen, this is me.
I am not begging for your attention and opinion. I don't need people to satisfy me. I just want to let you know that I love myself.
If Aphrodite needs an Ares who made her world a mess and made her family into war to satisfy her, then I will not be like her. I will not let a man blinded me to love and let him destroy my life.
I should be like Athena. With her pure intelligence, she reached everything she wants. Just like right now, as a teenager, we need to focus on our dreams first before entering into a serious relationship. Love can destroy anytime. Most of the time, it is unexpected and so painful. So if you want to achieve your dreams first, go handle love at the right time. The right time that you know in yourself that you are matured enough to balance both of your dreams and love life.
If Aphrodite tricked Paris to Helen so that he could say that she is the most beautiful among the goddesses, we don't need to be like that.
Athena already have the confidence in herself for she already have a wisdom to believe in herself. We should too. She's a big inspiration in believing in herself just because she's wise so why can't you?
There are also reasons why we should be like Athena. One of its reason is because she uses her mind first before her heart. You can't see her weak because she is not referring to her feelings first.
Be wise. That's is her motto ALL THE TIME.
So girls! Before impressing boys and making yourself famous like Aphrodite, think this question first: "Is it really that necessary?"
I believe No! You should just be like Athena who is using her wisdom to be contented and to not seek more. She knows that what she has is enough for her. Only her intelligence is her asset but she can achieve everything with that.
May I ask you a question? In our generation today, do you think we should be like Athena or we should be like Aphrodite?
