IN THE BAR

BAR a place of drinkers, a place where gentlemen don’t want to go or if they want, their families don’t allow.

But I think we should not believe on anything just because others are saying it’s good or bad. So two smart boys I and my friend Abhi decided to go thereJ, we were very curious to know about the drinkers and really want to feel the atmosphere of an alcohol Bar (I lied with abhi that we’ll only go in the bar and will return soon my plan was something else).

Everyone was watching both of us when we entered from a small but heavy door, it was not a hall or a room it was smaller than a hall and bigger than a normal room. The lights were dim but colorful.

I and abhi looked each other and smiled with our teeth. Than we sit on the corner and start checking out approximate everyone. Most of them were busy with their bottles A group of young people was also their but they are elder then us I guess we were the younger in all of them, an old man was staring me from the begging but abhi did not noticed it or I also don’t want to tell him anything about it because I know he’ll tease me if he got to know anything about it. I was ignoring him but that oldie was continued.

We ordered the cheapest drink of the bar. And we start collecting all our courage to drink ALCOHOL in the first time of our life. We are going to take the first sip but suddenly a bunch of thoughts stops me, in my thoughts I feel like all my family members, friends, mom, dad is watching me. Everyone want to refuse me to do this. In between abhi finished his half drink. And start forcing me to drink. I again left the glass and close my eyes to drink it.

Someone taped on my shoulder and break my concentration.

Now what? I asked (but it was not abhi, it was the old man who was staring me from the begging)

And when he said his first sentence the color my face flies somewhere.

“You are the son of Mr. Suresh no?”(tum Suresh ji ke ladke ho na) he asked.

“Noooooooo” I said. (After thinking a second)

Yes, you are the son of Mr. Suresh I remember you, you name is Ravi no?

Once I come in your house I have seen you there, you seems me a good boy, but the truth is something else.

“You are a drinker” he toned.

His words was hitting me, I want to give him a solid punch when he says “you are drinker”.

But I know if I did anything stupid my dad will get to know from somewhere so I want to settle that matter at the same place.

Abhi was not saying anything he was just listing me and that old man, and watching both of us with his extra opened eyes.

I said, “Uncle, I am the same boy but you know why I am here”

My face was like the poorest guy in the whole world.

“No beta, Why are you here?” he asked.

“A girl broke my heart, I love her a lot but today I saw her with someone else you know uncle once I had sold my bicycle just to give her a gold ring, but today when I saw her with another guy I don’t know what to do, I was out of my mind so I come here” I explained.

The old man was very serious now, he was watching me silently I could felt a huge amount of sympathy in his eyes and…

..And he liked my story so much J and I will say my acting performance was award winning.

“Beta, its life, it happens with each and everyone’s life. It’s your age to concentrate in your studies not to fall in love or drink like ‘devdas’ bla bla bla.. Did you Understand beta ?” he was trying to make us understand.

“Uncle, please don’t tell about all this to my dad otherwise he’ll kill me” I almost begged.

“I can promise that I will never tell anything about it to your Dad,but you have to promise me too” he said with a smile.

“You will never go in any bar now especially for a girl” he said.

“I will never go in any bar” I promised.

We came outside of the bar and take a breath of relax.

We go to our houses with a smile and after a free adventure.
