The first thing to note is that there are different types of vinyl flooring. You can choose from tile, plank, sheet, or floating. 

There are pros and cons for each type of vinyl flooring, but I’ll only cover tile because it’s the type I used. 

I wanted to install vinyl flooring in my kitchen because it’s durable, easy to clean, and looks great. It also adds a bit of warmth to the space.

Here are the tools and materials I used for installing vinyl flooring in a kitchen.

2. Vinyl flooring: This is the most common type of flooring used in homes. It comes in various sizes and is installed using the floating method.

3. Floating screed: This is a material that is placed on top of the flooring and will be used to level the area.

4. Adhesive: This is the glue that will hold the vinyl flooring to the floating screed.

5. Tile saw: This is used to cut the vinyl tiles into shape. It also makes sure the edges of the flooring are perfectly straight.

6. Sanding machine: This is used to sand the flooring before applying the adhesive.

7. Vacuum: This is used to clean the surface of the flooring before applying the adhesive.

8. Sponge: This is used to apply the adhesive on the flooring.

9. Wheelbarrow: This is used to move the flooring around the room as you install it.

10. Rubber mallet: This is used to drive nails in the flooring.
