When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a pool of lies. It was strange and it was infururiating. My blood boils in range. I was wronged. I thought this was something good but it turns out I just fed the monsters, the users. I didn't see it coming. But now I'm awake. And I know, it was the dark times.
I walk stealthly through the dark alleys of the street, turning my head from side to side as the disturbing rustle was heard. The soft murmurs creep up from nowhere. I know monsters are following me. Multiple shadows of hands with sharp nails lashing violently with each other came into view. My heart was pounding abnormally. Until someone screamed breaking the silence of the night. They're coming after me! Cold sweat runs down my spine. Someone grabbed me by the arms, another hand to my feet, and then my hair.
"You will not escape!"
I screamed for help as I was trying to loosen their grip on me. This is frightening! Totally insane! I thrash about from this tangled, long, scary, and sharp hands. Finally they let go. I ran as fast as I could. And to my surprise, loud footsteps were heard and unmistakble hissing sound is after me. It suddenly laughed. Vampires. The blood-sucking creatures that abuses everything and everyone to get something they want. I cannot let them do the same thing to me. I will not be deceived again.
Then came the pounding paws on the ground in front of me. There it was, a black wolf with dark red eyes that stared down at me. The violent creature who'll no doubt kill someone that gets in its way. I stepped back unable to think something. All I can do is runaway. So I did. I ran again and again 'til my feet was sore. It took me to the deepest, darkest forest. It was screaming in silence. I was trembling so much that it was hard to hold something like rocks. I embrace myself trying not to shed tears. I need to get a hold of myself. I need to escape.
But as I was thinking deeply, the leaves from the tree shook violently then burst with black viscious bats that swooped down on me. I covered my head hastily as I whipped myself trying to get rid of the screeching sound they made. Then suddenly something struck behind me. I gasped in surprise. It was painful! I screamed in agony. Then another stabbed my stomach. I coughed blood, so much blood that ooze down my neck and chest. Sharp nails scratch my arms and a hand strike my head. They came at me simultaenously. A vampire suck my blood 'til I was so dizzy and pale to death. It was too agonizing to describe it. My whole body's in torture. They have no mercy!
"help..."
The wolves howled and devoured my soul! I screamed so much that it echoed among the woods. I didn't stop shouting so loudly. My hands gripped my hair so bad that it maked me insane to the core. I was in hysteria. Frightened! I'm turning maaad!!
"You useless child!"
"Die, die, die!"
"Worthless!"
It's hopeless! It's hopeless! My eyes were rolling all around threatning to roll back to my head. My voice was cracking painfully loud but I don't care! I'm in pain. I'm going to dieee!!
"Make it stop!"
Then they had enough with me. So they throw me away and left me rot to death. My body was covered in blood but it was not in agony anymore. I was feeling numb. I felt nothing anymore. Useless. Worthless. Dumb. My tears continued to shed and my sobbing grew louder every minute that passed by. It was very cold at night, like the way they treated me. I thought I will change for good but the outside world is a threat all along. I should've not come out. I should've not risk my life. I surrender. I'm going home.
Despite all the wounds and bruises, I managed to stood up. I staggered, trying to holp myself up. My head slowly look straight. There it was, a bright and round thing was peeping throught the clouds. The Moon. It's waiting for me. My haven! I walk as fast as I can manage, half-walking half-running. Though it was beginning to ache again, this is gonna be worth it. It's okay, it'll be over soon.
It's my home, my comfort zone. This is another hope! I dragged myself up to the highest cliff where I have the full view of the moon. I already felt the bliss!
"I'm coming."
I open my arms widely and closed my eyes. Then I let myself fall from the cliff. I waited, 'til I float in the sky and extended my arm, wanting to touch the moon so badly. It's bright enough to take shelter. Everything zoomed in front of me 'til the light engulfed me.
I'm home.
But the monsters will still hunt me. The nightmares will not stop. And I'll never live a normal life again.
