Local Authorities & Construction Contracts

Local authorities have budgeted expenditures across  or gewebeplanen  the period 2010-2011 at 121.9 billion. Fourteen percent of this budget is scheduled to go to housing, while 38 percent of the budget is anticipated to be allocated for education. Presently, the UK local authorities are working on a variety of construction contracts under construction and others are planned. Most of these contracts consist of:

The percentages in the budget aren't indicative of the remaining contracts that are under construction in 2010-2011. A significant proportion of construction contracts will be allocated for projects related to health. In addition, the Department of Transport and Department of Children, Schools and Families will also make up major portions in the overall budget. More than 17 million will be allocated to the Department of Health, and over 26 million in the Department of Transport is remaining on their budget this year. Over 8 million in contracts remain and will be allocated towards educational construction.
