A birthday is the day everyone awaits for every year because of many reasons like gifts, parties, cake etc. and so did Jake did await for his birthday party every year. Every year his birthday party went normal but this time it was about to be different...
So it was Jake's 13th birthday and it was afternoon so the birthday party had not started yet ; They had decided to start the party from the evening. At that time everyone was just preparing for the party- Jake's parents had hired some people just to decorate their house with beautifully designed balloons and long and smooth streamers. Soon the cake which had been ordered from online reached their house. The box of the cake was huge which indicated the cake was large to. Large cakes are needed after all if there are many people in a birthday party!
Soon it was evening and all the guests started coming slowly but then slowly many people had come and so had Jake's mother come from the beauty parlour but still Jake had not come; he was dressing in his room. After a few moments, he finally came down from the stairs and as he came down there was a loud explosion; it was just a type of pinata which automatically exploded. Jake was pretty scared by that but still it was his birthday so he did not mind.
Then he stepped forward to meet and greet everybody since it was his birthday party. Soon he saw one of his school friends who had come new to his school and that friend was a real troublemaker. He was surprised to see him in his party since he had not been invited. 'So, why didn't you invite me?' his friend, Crisp, asked. 'I am going to be honest with you' Jake replied 'You are one real troublemaker so you can make trouble in my party which I will never want, right?' 'Right!' Crisp said angrily 'But now I have got to know of your party and I will ruin it no matter what! 'What? Why?' Jake said annoyed. 'Bye' Crisp said as he walked away from there and merged into the crowd. Jake was still a little worried about what Crisp had said. Still he went back to cut the cake.
He first defused the candles on the cake and then took the musical knife to cut the cake but just then Crisp stopped him by yelling 'Wait!'. Jake was scared since he thought Crisp was about to do something again. 'I just want to add one better flavour to your cake just to make it tastier!' Crisp said as he took out one vial and poured it on the cake. 'What are you doing?' Jake yelled 'Making your cake tastier!' Crisp replied smiling slyly.
Everyone did not mind it. 'What a good friend he has!' everyone whispered but Jake knew something was going to go wrong but still he had to cut and eat the cake. So first he cut it as the musical knife sang the birthday song and then he ate the cut part of the cake closing his eyes. It tasted normal. Jake could not believe it. It was not any crispy prank of Crisp! Then he danced and ate many more things and finally the party had come to an end.
Suddenly he felt a little pain in the stomach. Then the pain started going more and more. Suddenly the pain was unbearable; So unbearable that he fell on the floor as he still held his stomach. Suddenly other people too started having stomachaches; those who had eaten the cake. Jake now understood that it was a prank of Crisp. It was a chemical that was inside the vial of Crisp that he had poured on his cake.
Now he regretted for not giving one invitation to Crisp, though he was troublesome.
