Just Friends

You laughed like a child, 

You leaned on me and cried.

You talked about that person

Who gave you nothing but desolation. 

I lent you my shoulder,

As our bound becomes stronger

I became your shadow

And wipe your tears in sorrow.

I guess you’re comfortable having me around.

I guess you can't tell that I am astound. 

I guess you don’t feel anything 

I guess so, but for me it is distracting. 

"Friends" one word that brings togetherness.

One word that gives me sadness.

One word that is so easy for you

One word I always say to hide my feelings for you.

Behind you, I’m waiting

Right next to you, I’m standing.

But you’re always looking far away

If I take one step closer, I’m afraid you’ll get farther away.
