We tend to choose to leap, but back out as we sense the danger of where the fall would lead; we tend to retreat even before the battle has begun, fearing the unknown outcome as it end. Though, can’t we stop hesitating and start to leap as high as we can and enjoy the free-fall without the worries of what we land in? As what millennials usually say; “Will you catch me if I fall?” but are answered with a humorous; “The ground will catch you” leaving (us) a factual knowledge of the possibility where to land in. Though, is falling without the certainty to be caught a dreading concept?
It is in human nature to fear the unknown; it is by instinct that we hesitate. Life is a cycle, as well as a scenic mystery. We exist, thinking that being born into the world meant to be as how others grew and we replicate how they live and set goals to fulfill in life. We grow up learning from others, and into the point of wanting to be like them. We study to learn, and mold our way as how they did. We get impressed and would desire to inspire. Dreams are common to individuals, connecting them and establish a bond within them. We share our dreams and plan on how to reach them, expand our views in life to see the requirements. There are a lot of ways we could dream, so with how to achieve them. Success is always the key word, the pinnacle to achieve utopia and the definition of ‘future’ is shrouded with its essence. Students nowadays are driven with the idea, and setting forth for achieving their goals becomes a mission they have to fulfill for a good life to live in. Though, thinking about the dream is easy, but setting forth upon it is the opposite. The unwarranted situations shackle us down, making us drown in misery and fear. Hesitance will always be apparent as a person needs providence of certain things to happen. Security is quiet a priority, so people often keep their feet by the shore and refuses to step into the water to guarantee their safety. It is in human nature to fear the unknown and instinct that we hesitate, yes, because not knowing something has always been a sign of precaution, and our dreams require information and guarantee, though couldn’t be provided, then our immediate response draws us back and incase ourselves with our protective barriers, deflecting insecurities and anxieties. Others pry on waiting for miracles, ‘holding back’ because time will come when things will happen. Faith is one thing, but faith without action is nothing. It is in the bible that we have to have faith, yet must act upon what we centered it to, to make things moving. Until one is committed, there is hesitancy. Have courage, take the leap and have faith in the process and trust that you’ll be okay. Things will fall into place; surprises are always in the way. Good things come from the unexpected. If you can slowly let go of your doubts and transform them into trust, so many possibilities start opening up.
Newton’s Third Law of Motion stated that, “For every action, there is an equal and opposite re-action”, which, the best example to set, is when the wings of an airplane generates lift, thrust is produced. It is about the action, not being rash, but also with package of faith that things will smoothen up as you dive in and go with the wave.
