It has finally been decided when "Ace" Lee Kang-in of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will join the men's national soccer team for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
"After discussions with PSG, it was finally agreed on Thursday night that Lee Kang-in will join the Asian Games squad after the club's home match against Dortmund (Germany) in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Sept. 19," the Korea Football Association (KFA) announced on Friday.
"Lee will travel to Hangzhou, China, to join the Asian Games team on the 20th local time in France," 성인웹툰 the federation said.
Lee has recently been sidelined with a left quadriceps injury that kept him out of two consecutive A matches in September. This raised questions as PSG did not provide a clear statement on when Lee would join the Asian Games squad, but after discussions with the Korean Football Association, an agreement was reached today.
PSG will play a home Ligue 1 match against Nice at 4 p.m. ET on Sept. 16 and a UCL group stage match against Dortmund at 4 p.m. ET on Sept. 20.
Hwang Sun-hong's South Korea are in Group E of the Asian Games and will play Kuwait on Sept. 19, Thailand on Sept. 21 and Bahrain on Sept. 24 at the Jinhua Sports Center Stadium in Zhejiang, China.
Lee is expected to arrive in China on the 21st and is not expected to be available for the Asian Games until the third group game at the earliest. 19가이드03
