I was discriminated
They believed my life is wasted
People scrutinize me so low
For what they see in me, I can't let it go
My life's first chapter was entirely around them
Made me believe that I am a rusty gem
Not capable to do anything
Looking at me like I was a piece of nothing
Now that I am rearing from the slums
Did not expect this time will come
My life then was full of woe
Now I'm letting all of it go
Raising my head to look skyward
Because I've learned how to keep on moving forward
Leaving the past in the first chapter
To face new life with laughter.
