Info

When you came to this world, she was reborn.
She held you in her arms, with a promise to give you all the love she had in her. And maybe even more.
That one day, was the only day she smiled with joy when you cried out loud.
From that day onwards, she did everything that she could, so that no more tears came to your eyes.
Those stinky, dirty nappies? She Changed them without cringing, without any complaints.
She knew when you were hungry, when you wanted to sleep. She understood everything you wanted even when you were incapable of forming words.
She held your arms when you stumbled whilst learning to walk.
When you took your first steps and left her hands to run forward, words can't describe how happy she was.
The day you said, ' MAA', for the first time, was the day she promised that she would let no harm come to you, no Matter what.
That one word brought everything in her come to life.
She played with you, she ran after you, she told you the most fascinating stories. Your childhood brought out the kid in her.
Your first day of school? Remember how scared and nervous you were? She was 10 times more scared. She was leaving you alone for the very first time since the day you were born. But she knew she had to do it.
From waking up in early in the morning to cook delicious food for you to chasing after you to get you ready on time for school to listening to your non-stop chattering after school. She did everything without a single complaint, Even when she was exhausted. Because you brought joy, you made her world smile.
When you entered your teens, she warned you about the friends you kept, the boys you talked to. You thought she was being her fussy self, but she was just keeping her promise.
Remember Those late-night cramming sessions, those endless lists of formulae, those fat books that kept you up all night? But, You weren't the only one giving your boards. There was one more person who stayed up with you all those nights. Making coffee for you, making sure you weren't hungry, making sure you didn't have a nervous breakdown due to the pressure. It was her test too.
The day your results arrived, a bright and bold 93%, everyone praised you, congratulated you. But they all forgot to give credit to one person who deserved it the most.
First day of college, when she went to see you off, the nervousness that she had on the first day of your school returned. But again she maintained a strong heart, for she knew she had to do this so that you could succeed in life.
From then on,
She became your daily alarm,
Your reminder to eat properly,
Your constant encouragement to study well.
But maybe in the rush to enjoy your new, independent lives, you forgot to appreciate her efforts and love.
College's first crush.  Telling her about that sweet, handsome guy . How he cares about you, how much fun you have with him. But also telling her that he's just a friend. She knew he wasn't. She knew he meant something to you. Something more than a friend, something special. But she said nothing, because at that moment he made you happy. She just gave you a motherly warning and told you to be careful.
After that first heartbreak, she didn't say that she told you so. She stayed up with you, listening to you cry and whine. You didn't tell her the exact reason, but she knew. She knew someone broke your heart. She made this heart, she made you, she put in all the efforts, please don't let anyone break you in seconds.

And you know what? Your life has just started. There'll be a number of heartbreaks, falling grades, friendships falling out.
But you know what will remain constant?
You know who will always remain by your side?
Your mother.
She has seen your constant crying as a baby,
Your constant whining about school,
Your pointless tantrums,
Your messy rooms,
Your emo phase,
Your mood swings,
Your hatred to study,
Your heartbreaks,
Your falling grades,
Your ever changing career options,
And maybe you didn't notice, or maybe you were too busy to appreciate it,
But your mother has been by your side all this while,
Taking care of you,
Encouraging you,
Protecting you,
Loving you,
Keeping all those promises she made to you when you were born.
And you know what?
She'll keep doing it. She'll keep all her promises. Because despite everything, your mother is one person who'll remain a constant in your life.
