Love is cooking (or at least trying to cook) food for them.

Love is telling them how your day went because you understand that they miss you even if they won’t admit it.

Love is dancing with them on a random Friday night.

Love is asking how their day went and waiting for their real reply.

Love is playing their favorite music.

Love is sitting together around the dining table with no gadgets in your hand

Love is bringing home a food they like.

Love is not interrupting when they are talking to you.

Love is asking their opinion on something.

Love is kissing them goodbye and good night.

Love is forgiveness released from your heart even when they do not ask for it.

Love is praying for them.

Love is being intentional in spending quality time with them.

Love is considering what’s important to them.

Love is constantly reminding yourself that like you, they are not perfect too. They make mistakes. They become angry. They long for your affection. Sometimes they express it in a way we usually misunderstands. But one thing’s for sure; they love you and they’re doing their best to give the love you deserve.
