Love to flow its desired direction ?

Let me be the fire that lights your heart
And the sympathetic nature of your soul
For which two hearts unite into one
But still the lack of feeling of your touch
Makes me feel lone
Amidst this deep earthly bowl.

Was it the day,
The first time we met,
Setting the proverb right
Love at first sight?

Never could I have thought,
That this love could diverge us from the path of right and wrong,
To this manner
So as to shed off the good child's banner.

Why?  I ask why...
The love between Hindus and Muslims
Not be called love but shameful acts
In the name of religion.

Today I see you burning on the pier of death,
But do believe me
I want to burn on your pier even if it's practising the culture of sati,
Atleast!  Our mixed ashes would be inseparable.
