I remember the day when I first saw you. It was a day when I truly understood the phrase "my heart skipped a beat". Just like that raindrop which falls from the sky to dances over each pebble ahead and finally finds its new worth, finding you was like discovering a new me.

Sorry! I took this long, even though my heart recognized you.

My curiosity made me learn more about you. Notice and understand you better... to give myself a new reasons to fall in love again and again.. and all over again.. Taking one step at a time towards you while sipping the coffee of love.. Filling myself with love, one sip at a time.

When the demons of inner mind pinned me to the ground, I recognized yours too. I heard your unspoken plea. I felt every word of your pain.

Sorry, I couldn't tell you that you were not alone.

Sorry, I couldn't put my hand forth to hold yours.

Sorry, I couldn't tell you that everything will be ok.

I kept on hoping for that one day when I could escape my demons and dive into the ocean called life holding your hand tight. Hoping to find peace in each others embraces. I used to look up at the moon, thinking that it was only him who could see both of us together.

Shattered was what I felt when I knew you were gone. Your demons won over you. Deeper did I fell into my demon's clutches. Losing you was more like losing myself. Now I waited for the day when I could follow you.

Moon now sees only me but I know you too watch over me from up above.
