MARIJUANA PLANTS WITH MICROBES

Info

In this article we will see the basic pillars of the technique (EM) that is based on the micro-life of the soil. The symbiosis that some microbes make with plants, benefits them to the point that it is more difficult for a pest to attack our marijuana plants. And above all, we will not forget that this technique is used in countries like Japan for their agriculture, so that their vegetables do not contain traces of chemical fertilizers and heavy metal remains. The flavor of the vegetables produced with these techniques will always be better than that produced with other methods (chemical fertilizers).

A LITTLE HISTORY OF THE EM TECHNIQUE (BENEFICIAL MICROORGANISMS) AND BOKASHI

The word Bokashi comes from Japanese and its meaning is that of fermentation. Fermentation has been used by humans since its beginnings, clear examples can be beer, yogurts or cheeses. For years this has been in charge of providing beneficial microbes to man, helping to regulate basic body processes such as digestion. All cultures have been aware of the benefits of the contribution of these ferments, both in humans and in vegetables. In my personal opinion, the entry of the industry in the production of vegetables has been responsible for making these ancient techniques disappear, putting them aside with chemical fertilizers and the idea of greater productions. Looking for a wide range of seeds? Try of strawberry cough seeds, jack herer seeds and the northern lights autoflower seed.

I do not rule out that using this type of fertilizer the productions will be higher, what I can assure you is that they will never be able to compete with those made with this technique, since the production of aromas and flavors will be greater than only with the use of classic fertilizers. In 1970 the Japanese farmer Teruo Higa discovered that a combination of 80 different microorganisms were capable of positively influencing the decomposition of organic matter, reverting to a beneficial process for the environment and the creation of new life.

BASIC CONCEPTS FOR THE PREPARATION OF LACTOBACILLUS

The procedures necessary to prepare the mixture will not be expensive and in many cases we will be able to find the materials in our home: 1 - We will put rice and chlorine-free water in a pot with lid for subsequent stirring. With this we will get all the possible starch out of the rice. Once the white water is observed, strain it and put it back into the pot where it has been stirred together with the rice previously. The leftover rice is saved to take advantage of our food use. 2 - Put the lid loosely and store in a closet or similar where it cannot shine (5-7 days). 3 - After that time we will strain the upper layer that has formed and we will keep the serum (liquid) to continue with the procedure. 4 - We measure the amount of rice water we have and we will add 10 parts of milk to one part of fermented rice water and we will let it rest for another 5 or 7 days. 5 - After those days, we will see that a top layer has formed. We will remove this and we can use it for the garden, distributing small amounts for the distribution of microorganisms. On the other hand, we will have the liquid serum in which we will have our beneficial microbes, but these are inactive. 6 - Add a tablespoon of molasses or honey if not, to keep the microorganisms fed (active) and we can store in a cool and dry place to its use. 7 - To make use of this, we must mix one part of the serum with 20 parts of chlorine-free water. And we will have our EM-1 ready. A trick to know if we have done everything in proper order and there has been no failure, is to smell the mixture once we have finished the whole process. If the smell is strong like rottenness, we should discard the mixture since due to some problem that occurred in the reaction, the mixture has been contaminated by other agents and has not been carried out correctly. If on the contrary, if the smell is of fermentation, but mild , we can make use of this mixture always using it with chlorine-free water.

BENEFITS OF THIS MIXTURE FOR MARIJUANA PLANTS

This mixture can be used both in newly germinated plants or cuttings, as well as in growing and flowering plants, since with this mixture we will be providing the beneficial microbes that they need at all times. We see how the plants that are being treated with this mixture are not so prone to contracting diseases, since these microbes are in symbiosis with our marijuana plants, helping them to face this type of adversity. Another factor that we must take into account is that the use of beneficial microorganisms improves the life of the soil and increases the absorption of nutrients . Therefore, we must remember to add fertilizers once a week so as not to deplete the soil. A curiosity that we can see with the use of beneficial microorganisms is that pig farms are being achieved without odor nuisances, even a contribution of these beneficial microorganisms can be given together with the food of our pets, not producing a bad smell their bowel movements and helping their intestinal transit at all times
