For years being told what not to do,
For the fear of what people shall think about you,
I lived my life as a lie,
Without showing my real self shall I die,
Hiding behind a mask gives me faith,
No one shall judge me if they dont know my face!
Your identity is like a cage,
People judge you on each page,
Break it and you shall seek,
The happiness of letting go of the beast within.
18 years back I was born,
As I grew up, my life was torn,
Dont do this, dont do that I was told,
Breaking free was a step very bold.
You always need to fear,
What people think about you dear,
Merge in like a drop of water in the sea,
Dont be what people dont like to see.
Every one is Unique they say,
Then why do they judge people through out the day?
To hide from these judgements, I killed,
My own inner self without guilt.
Then I met a person so rare,
Who taught me to just not care,
He lives his life on his own terms,
He says the people who judge are like germs.
Through him I muster much courage,
To finish my passion's chase,
I hide behind my mask to be free
And here I go for a rebellious spree!
Shall you open the casket to your dreams,
Nobody can stop you from flying it seems!
