1'st May is Labour Day, the day when workers' rights are celebrated, and the day of revolution. Sheila was in a bookstore that day, browsing books which were committed to a cause, and which seemed full of different kinds of content which appealed to her offbeat instincts. She was supposed to join somewhere in 3 days, and this was a good distraction.
Earlier, she had gone for an interview to a company which seemed like a crossover between a boho coffee shop and a corporate space nestled in a cozy house. She fell in love at first sight with the place, and was greeted by a doll-like presence who took her to see the management.
The memorable part of the day was just after the interview, where she was brought face-to-face with the teams. Shy at first, she met them all, and they all seemed so friendly and greeted her in the midst of their busy schedules.
Lastly, there was a guy whom she liked very much. He was like freshly brewed coffee and was like lingering fragrance which could be soaked up by the bare skin, like fresh earth before rain and like sweet surrender to pain. He was like sunshine which burnt the pores of the skin when allowed to, and he was unaware of his aura. He had a smile to die for, and a sultry sweetness which reminded one of electrifying, old-world charm and she would later realise the magnetic ease with which this charm could drain all reason and all logic. He followed his heart uninhibited and was a lover of love.
That meeting was remarkable because it would lead to a dream-like scenario in the days to come.
