Me Before You

Sometimes, I am just astonished that one whole year comes to an end so soon. It is progressing faster like my age and I have no control over it. They say that you define your own life and shape your own path but somehow I feel I am not in control of it. It is guided by some Superior Power or lets just say this is a way of comforting my heart when things go out of shape and out of line.

My 2017 You would definitely think the same way when it was looking over at my 2018 You.
One year can change so much and it's surprising that we are not aware of that. I think my 2017 You would definitely be proud of some of my decisions which entailed courage and optimism. Leaving a job was never that easy and well when it's paying you good. But, my priorities have always been very different and I do not like meddling with them. I cannot settle for things that do not enhance me as a learner and as a person. There was a lot of dilemma and I finally made my decision.

I entered into a field of writing which is still new to me. I need to learn a lot everyday and I need to improve on myself. I believe writing has given me a different perspective to understand myself. I can see clearly myself in the mirror for now. I have evolved as a person over one year and I have realised that Birthdays are not about your own always and you can spread love and joy to others by doing your bit. Therefore, this year I had decided to donate instead of gifts and I could do my bit.

I strongly feel that my 2017 You would be proud that I could fulfil the 2018 resolution of Being Mentally Strong and I have emerged with dignity, love and pride. The journey is never smooth but I would like to look at the positive side of it and stay away from negativity. It's difficult to be away when negativity is up to the brim but I hope to carry on with my new resolution for the next year.

P.S - I hope that my Launchora community would get to read some good stories from my end as we come to the end of another year.
