•From a teacher’s diary:
“Today you colored the moon green.
I criticized, you cried;
I explained, you denied. You said someday you shall make it green. I laughed and gave up. Keep up this determination and persistence forever; I want you to run tirelessly towards your goal until the obstacles give up. Make me proud by being courageous enough to dream the impossible. Leave the rest to your mentor-I will show you the way worth following and things worth chasing. You have to bring better changes to this world…..yes, more important than the moon’s color, little one…”
• A child’s soft mind is like raw iron.
When used judiciously, it can be turned into a factory of ideas for the service of the society.
When used carelessly, an important resource will rust and be lost.
When used wrongly, it can be turned into fatal weapons- a mistake that cannot be forgiven by divinity or forgotten by mortality.
•From a Teacher's diary:-
“I remember That big bully broke your clay model into fragments. You wept a lot…then collected yourself and those pieces and tried sticking them. I know it was tough to restore it, tougher for you to accept it. So, you didn’t quit. I was satisfied with your efforts. But sometimes we have to realize and move on to achieve something bigger. Never mourn over your dead dreams; start again and ignite a new idea. I know you will build something even better next time.”
o Laennec was strolling on the cool sands of the beach when he saw some children playing with coconut- shells and strings and communicating using them. This innocent play inspired the invention of stethoscope whose importance remains unparalleled. A child must be given complete freedom to play, imagine, learn, dream -not only for their own development but also for the greater good of the civilization. Their precious games and fables are a major source of innovations and discoveries.
• Our nursery rhyme:-
Sometimes you will lose,
And then be a star.
Whatever it maybe,
Ignore both the scars.
For those of victory,
will pull you down.
While the ones of defeat,
won’t let you go far.
• Dear Student,
A follower will follow when someone is there to lead, but a founder must move on even when his shadow refuses to pursue him. This is the difference between a follower and frontrunner. Others might be of bones and blood; he is made of courage and persistence.
And only they who have the courage to stand and walk alone can reach the top.
• Rote learning is easy,
So it makes one lazy,
So he stops asking questions,
And wondering about new ways and possibilities.
Thus, he stops devising and discovering,
Which leads to zero personal progress,
And ultimately decline in nation’s development.
•Dear student,
Good leadership is hard to find. But good followers, who understand the importance of team-work, are full of evergreen energy and faith over their guiding star, Eveready to implement the toughest decisions and questioning them only for societal sake instead of selfish reasons, and putting extra efforts for its improvement, are rare. It is a lesson hard to learn, and sometimes harder to practice.
• Dear student,
Be hopeless, realize your exhaustion, yell out your weakness, feel the pain…
Then rise up again, ignore the bruises, wipe your tears, laugh at your hurdles and start anew.
It is alright to be broken at times. But life is based on three words:-
NEVER.GIVE.UP.
• Ashes are the birthplace of a phoenix. And it is always the ruins which inspire.
We must learn from our mistakes and failures and teach those lessons to the future generation to draw courage and hope from.
• The present might give birth to a significant revolution. But its true success will lie in the hands of the successors who will have to nurture, nourish and carry it on. Therefore, these toddlers must be trained carefully for the miles they have to go.
• Dear student,
You cannot keep working always.
Watch the pelican flying. It isn’t flapping its wings all the time, but changing its direction according to the wind flowing( for it is not possible to change the wind’s direction after all) and thus keep itself floating and moving towards its destiny. This is called smart work. Hard work will bring you to the shore, but smart work lets you breathe freely now and then during your voyage.
• Dear student
Years later, I just don’t want to see you in a luxurious car driving to your warm mansion. But, I would prefer seeing you stopping the car by the footpath to take in a homeless soul with you on your way.
I want you to remain down-to-earth and work for its (earth’s) betterment at all costs. Only then will I know that you and I have succeeded in true terms.
