Mitsubishi Triton Malaysia

Mitsubishi triton 2019 Motors Malaysia (Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia) recently launched a small revision of its low-profile cargo truck Mitsubishi Triton Quest in Malaysia. It is the cheapest model in the car series, priced from only RM79,890 (excluding insurance).

The overall body of this model is only 1600 kg. The exterior design adopts the latest Dynamic Shield family-style front face design. It is also equipped with a cool light set, which instantly enhances the recognition of this model. On the car side, it is equipped with 15-inch wheels and 195R15C tires.

The popular Triton Quest has a very selling point. Its body space is the largest among low-profile trucks on the market, with a total load of 970 kg. Its J-Line design retains body space and provides comfort for rear passengers The ride space.

In addition, this model also takes safety factors into consideration. It is equipped with multiple practical safety systems and equipment including dual airbags, electronic brake force distribution system (EBD), anti-lock braking system (ABS), pre-retractable seat belts, and multi-functions. Information display, automatic headlight shut-off function, door opening alarm, automatic door locking system, automatic speed adjustment wiper, 15-second delay shut-off function of car lights, and electronic time alarm control system (ETACS).

The newly added Hill Descent Control system can assist you in challenging situations. The system maintains a constant vehicle speed during downhill by adjusting the braking force of each wheel, allowing the driver to concentrate on steering.

The new six-speed automatic transmission improves Triton's open road performance, making its overall acceleration performance smoother and stronger, and minimizing noise during high-speed driving.

The new Triton retains the high durability, trapezoidal frame and high collision protection cabin structure of the existing series, and is supported by the latest active safety systems and driver assistance systems. The low to mid-range GLX and GLX-R are equipped with a forward collision mitigation system and a lane departure warning system.

Benefiting from functions such as blind spot warning, rear lateral oncoming warning, panoramic surveillance imaging system and front and rear parking sensors, the high-end version of VRX makes the new Triton one of the most advanced models in the Ute segment. VRX and GLX-R models are equipped with larger front brake discs and two pistons in each brake caliper to improve braking performance and overall safety.

In terms of power, the model is equipped with a 2.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine and a 5-speed gearbox with a maximum power of 110 horsepower and 200 Newton meters of torque.
