Negativity is the new positivity

A positive outreach in life is good until it becomes the reason for your sufferings. Some situations are designed and brought in your path for you to feel negative. Being extremely happy and positive towards situations can convert you from an optimist to a pessimist. When things don’t go as planned and bad is more than good, the ability to look at the brighter side decreases. The grass looks greener on the other side, tempting one to be there, and not being able to reach can change the attitude right in front of your eyes. As someone who can breathe and talk bullshit with their mouths, it’s important for us; alive creatures or let’s call us offsprings, to understand that nothing is permanent, neither you with those heavy ass feelings nor your surroundings and that is something that everyone wishes to attain; the acceptance. Acceptance about dreadful attributes of life will not only call you an optimist but also will make you feel like one. Life is full of ups and downs, one can neither always be up or down. They will swing between both like on a seesaw. The happy moments will fade away with the same speed as Flash runs and Thanos wiped half the planet with his snap. In those moments one doesn’t only have to be positively inclined but logically and to an extent negatively. When joy fades away it allows growing as a person. To convert from a caterpillar to a magnificent butterfly. Growth is also a slow process, you can’t convert from a seed to a sunflower without sunlight, rain and fertilizers. There will be insects trying to bite you and forming holes making you feel hollow from inside, but there are pesticides to prevent them. Hailstorms might make your stem a little loose but the dedication to stick around keeps the flower alive. This is the importance of negativity. Bad times increase the capacity to survive, give a strength to continue with the hope that one day the growth will form a fully bloomed sunflower. The stems might be a little loose but the roots are still as strong as before. In times to come, the stem will also repair itself to be like before, it will take time but it will be worth it because slow progress is also progress. The negativity will motivate you to do better, probably more than what a positive situation will do.
