The kinetic sounds that bellowed from the world
I too have awakened to the continuous feeling to be somewhere
The make-up slatternly applied, the unwashed clothes draped on as
I flew out of the door… into the belly of the whale
It is all meaningless

there is no time we all say
would you say ‘I love you’
to your daughter whom you would never hold again?
travelling down the road of life
not one person taking the time to say - ‘how are you?’
to gaze at the white crystals as they float down from the grey winter sky
it’s all about our schedule, our problems, our time
time
time is meant to be shared with the ones you love, with your daughter
rushing right through you’d never know
you’d never know
what memories you would have felt, who you might have saved in spirit
who you met that changed your life, who you loved for eternity
if you care about someone, someone you gave even a little piece of your heart to
do not close your eyes to embrace them
draw their image in - their image that has been placed in your precious life
these memories will cease to be
do not prolong your life for a day of freedom
do not prolong your way to live the path of joy, take the chance, find yourself
a morning to soak in peace, to step back and feel you belong
do not run after mortal things
do not take something because it is easy to take
working for the eternal blessings
the ones who chose to love you
the form of your soul
peace you learned to expand out of yourself
the same blood that flows through the many images of you
for the feelings you feel will last forever that’s why you must feel them now
love the ones you love now for you do not know their fate
time may seem endless time may seem to stand still
but time is nothing compared to the things that are eternal
