Noise of the World

I hear the noise of the world.
Voices of people I don't even know echo in my ears.
Children shouting and laughing, not caring about anything.

Workers too busy making people hear them out, as if being heard will give them purpose in living.

Elders wasting their time consoling and telling people what's right, even though they know people wouldn't follow their advices.

Too many noises.
I feel my ear hurting.
Every sound is overwhelming.
But little did I know, that every single sound made has a purpose.
Everything I hear tells me something.

Children's loud laughter gives me hope and motivation to not let problems rule my life.

Workers' constant blabbering about what they think tells me that everyone is different.
Each a magnificent blessing.

Elders' nonstop lessons make me realize that no matter how cruel the world may be, there will always be those who will reach out and help me despite them being taken for granted.

Ah. The noise of the world.
What a wonderful sound.
We may sometimes get overwhelmed by this, but I hope you'll find it in you to be still and listen.
Listen to what the world is telling you.

It's like it's whispering ever so softly, "You are alive. You are alive."
