GOD – What is it?
ME – I am afraid.
GOD – Afraid? About what?
ME – I want to make a mark. I want to prove myself, prove that I am worthy of happiness, prove that I am great.
GOD – Why?
ME – I will be happy once I have done it.
GOD – You misunderstood my question. Why are you afraid?
ME – Because I might fail.
GOD – Your fear is of no use.
ME – How?
GOD – What will you achieve if any of those happens? What will you gain if they accept you as a champion and what if you die unnoticed? Moreover, can you be sure of how it is going to end?
ME – I… um… I don’t know.
GOD – If you don’t know the consequences of their actions upon yourself then why are you striving so hard to make them respond to you in the first place? And if you don't know how it is going to end then why wait so desperately for the end at all.
ME – I have lived a confused life till now but I am more confused now that you have pointed that out to me.
GOD – What is so confusing?
ME – Your question – why do I do what I do?
GOD – You don’t know?
ME – No.
GOD – Let us make this clear. The mantra is peace out. All our lives, we try to do things that better our relations with everyone around us. Once we have done that we try to move to a larger audience, we try to make them believe that we are good people, great people. Now, even if someone fails to balance the terms with their loved ones, say their family, they still try to move to a larger audience because we as humans believe that we can make up for something we have done wrong to someone by doing good to others. We try to compensate the wrong we have done to our loved ones by doing something respectable. We forget a key element. The idea is to peace out. The idea is not moving to Past Perfect from Past. The idea is to step aside without hoping for a better something after the end, without hoping that they remember you after you depart.
ME – I still don’t get it.
GOD – There are two things that we abide to: bondage and freedom. People are either bound to everything they love or they liberate themselves from everything. This is wrong. Think, if you can take everything you love with you wherever you go, you won't be in need to enjoy freedom. Everything that you hold dear is with you in essence. In such state of mind, you will not care for the happiness freedom can provide.
ME – You make it more complicated.
GOD – Alright, What do you seek? Positivity or Negativity?
ME – Positivity, obviously.
GOD – That is your mistake. You choose to cling to the lame idea of evil and good. There are no such things. But that is the prime directive, the most important value for humans. The key to immortality is to move past them, step beyond. Luring as it might be, it is not worth it if you attain a positive death, a death of honour. And humiliating as it might be, losing the game and departing the arena without making your mark is not worth as well. In both the cases your energy is drained out. You are completely exhausted by the time you reach the end. Why would you want to do that? In order to really enjoy the end, you must save your energy. Be neutral. Be at peace with yourself. Everything is alright no matter how the end turns out to be. There is no evil in the world, no negativity and there is nothing that is good, positivity. All that is important is your energy. Conserving it is important.
ME – I think I am getting the point.
GOD – Good for you, but your trouble starts now. That is only if you perceive it as trouble. What you have to do now is not make peace with your victory and not make peace with your humiliation, which is what you call good and bad, positive and negative, but you have to understand now that it does not matter, you have to accept whatever comes if you can. A win or a defeat never mattered. You have to Peace Out. You have to be at peace with not only your own soul but while thinking of your soul as part of a whole you have to be with peace with it. You have to be at peace with all life. Peace out with the soul of mankind. This is how you finally get ready to enter the space that is beyond bondage and freedom.
ME – I don’t perceive it as trouble. I can see, I can feel. I am at peace. I peace out. I will do whatever I can now, but not to make my mark, not to achieve something but I will do things because I can. I will not waste away this life in search of death because I am not in a hurry. I will do things I love most and accept the consequences and I will be ready to step up when the time comes.
GOD – You finally got it. I am glad.
ME – Goodbye. I will meet you again.
