Statement Graham was a well-liked music promoter who maintained several companies, prepared events, and eventually made several events venues famous. Three of the concert halls bore the name "The Fillmore." These were Graham's first place in San Francisco: "The Fillmore", his New York corridor "The Fillmore East", and of course the legendary "Fillmore West", middle of the psychedelic San Francisco music and arts happening. In the 1960s, the Fillmore venues were important places for the most used musicians of the time.
The first Fillmore place was located in the "Majestic Corridor" at the part of Fillmore and Geary in San Francisco. Graham's first concert at The Fillmore Audience took put on Feb. 4th, 1966, and included Jefferson Airplane.
