Project X Shafts Review

DESCRIPTION. The Project X stance is among the more popular irons for sale, with its distinctive straight shaft and high loft. Stronger players seeking to improve control and strength in their wedges gravitate towards the Project X model, which features a steeper shaft design and a sweet spot that encourages the forward swing.

The Project X regular shaft is one of the best selling iron irons on the market, thanks to its strong features and great performance. Regular players looking for irons with additional stiffness find the Project X extra stiff to help control shots at the lower ends of the golf club arc. The Project X stiff shaft also helps solidify your lower arc, resulting in sweet spots that are much easier to hit. The high loft gives more accuracy and distance, and the low center of gravity helps your ball travel further with a sweet spot that is easier to hit. The Project X straight shaft is also steeper than other irons in order to help players get more accuracy, and a stiff core keeps the spine square while you are swinging.

Spin Rate. All Project X irons feature a mild spin rate that will help you control the direction of your ball flight. The Project X irons have a nine degree spin angle, which means they will go through impact with fewer degrees of spin. This will produce less lift, which means the ball travels farther. With the stiff shaft, the spin of your shot is also reduced. You can take advantage of this with the use of some of the following irons, including the titanium tipped Callaway driver and the graphite tipped TaylorMade Burner driver.

trajectory without sacrificing distance. All Project X irons offer a full package of distance and accuracy. They offer high loft that helps you gain distance and a stiff shaft that offers consistent ball speeds and distance. This will also help you with your follow through, as the Project X Golf Shafts offer more follow through than your regular flex irons. The overall distance on your driver will be longer thanks to the stiff shaft and your follow through will be smooth because there will be little or no backspin on your shots.

Regular Flex Fit. All Project X irons are fitted with a premium leather shaft with a regular flex design. This offers a maximum of flexibility and comfort, and it reduces the chance of injury. The regular plus five.5 flex design is recommended for all players to reduce the chances of injury and maximize your performance.

Graphite Shafts. Despite its name, Graphite is not really made out of graphite; it is actually made out of a synthetic material which is used as an insulator between the steel core and the outer cover. Though the core is made out of graphite, the outer cover is made out of a thick synthetic material, which gives you the best of both worlds and makes your golf shafts extremely durable and flexible at the same time.

Stiffness. All Project X shafts are very flexible with a moderate amount of stiffness. This is great for players who need the control of a medium stiff shaft, but are not in search of extreme flex or a stiff feel. However, this does not mean that the shaft is completely stiff. You will still get the full benefits of a stiff shaft at the right shaft setting for your playing style.

Wedges. Project X wedges are an amazing combination of awesome forgiveness and great distance. Wedges are great drivers for distance especially and are one of the favorites among golfers. Project X wedges are modeled after the irons found in the pros, so they feature all the best properties of an iron, except for the extra length. Due to its shorter shaft flex, wedges are not very flexible, but this does not affect their performance when they are used for their intended purposes.
