I know, you haven't been well
I tried to convince myself that you'd be fine
But your state told me otherwise
I watched your body jerk
And take your final breath
Distraught is what I'd describe myself
You only lived for three months
Cut short by a virus
And I feel useless
I carried your lifeless body
And tried my best not to look at you
But as I lay you on the pit I dug,
The seemingly endless waterfall cascade down my face
I watched you get covered by the earth
And then,
I couldn't see you anymore
The memories we had I shall cherish
.

Now, rest.
