Reza Irani Kermani co-founded Black Pearl Capital in Dubai

Reza Irani-Kermani got born in the beautiful city of Tehran and he further completed his education from the French School, Lycée Razi by the year 1980. He also went to Complexe Scolaire de Valbonne, Sophia Antipolis, Valbonne in France to pursue his further studies and also grabbed his International Baccalaureate from the same school. Reza then travelled to Birmingham, United Kingdom, to carry on with his higher education in Production Engineering and Commerce at the University of Birmingham. Finally in the year 1989, after getting the Engineering degree, he secured his first job as a clerk at the Management Investment and Trade Ltd “MIT” in London. Reza himself became a part of the trading business in the year 1990 and as a result to his hardcore efforts and sheer talent, he became the General Manager in the same trading firm in year 1991. Well, it was mainly due to his great business acumen and future vision, MIT earned the tag of being one of the largest trading entities in foreign exchange coming with a daily turnover of more than $11 Billion.

By the year 1993, MIT was looking towards China as the future of trading markets but Reza knew that this would not be going to help the company in the coming future. Reza was the acting in charge of MITs London office during that time period.

Reza also led the bullion and foreign exchange trading department up until 1997 as he worked under AMC due to a contractual clause in his agreement with the firm. It was then in the year 1997, Reza Irani-Kermani stepped into the board membership of the Abela Corporation and its big network of companies, including Sogeres SA. That was the time when Abela Corporation was holding work strength of more than 40,000 employees and their business was reachable to as many as 44 countries. The organisation was also indulged in several other domains like catering, life support services, a chain of supermarkets in the Middle East, investments such as Gold mines in Africa, Salmon Farm in Scotland and Hotels in London, Nice, Cannes and Monaco.

After getting apart from Abela corporartion, Reza Irani started his own firm named Symphony with his friend, Abbas Jafarian. The firm came up with its solid trading portfolios while also getting involved in real estate asset management for a large MENA Fund. Reza then started another firm named Black Pearl Capital “BPC” in 2007, which earned some solid business reputation of being an efficient investment Company, whilst managing Real Estate deals in Eastern and Western European zones.
