The St. John's campus is located on a twenty-acre lake at the edge of the hamlet of Santo Domingo. It is known as the "town of Santo Domingo." The city is also the site of one of the oldest and largest ox settlements in the world. The University has a highly acclaimed Ross Medical School program leading to an MD degree.
