I am St. Martin's college. Every year I observe millions of newbies roaming around my campus observing new things around me. Pretty girls in heels and boys following them...thats something too common here. I see everything...those whispers....the class bunkers....the lovebirds....the one siders....and those with their broken hearts. Among millions I also observed some genuine hearts based on the topic love which i came across to speak today. These find solace among my lush green fields...some in the canteen and some in the corridor. I was excited to look at them all. They were a kind of fascinating to me. Among all these...there was something called seasonal lovers...no they dont change with time...but their love moves on from one to the other at various times. First I was amazed to find people like these but later on i got to know that amidst loving someone...and being single there was an intermediate in between which was SEASONAL LOVE...
"I love you so much and you are never concerned about it" i heard someones voice in the corridor...
"Try to understand...i dont...i dont love you please stop disturbing me"
The girl leaves as the boy is joined by his friends.
"So? Bet incomplete?"
"Ah..let it be i will complete it with someone else"
I hear him say as he leaves. Love these days was a matter of betting...winning over it was much important than simply being with someone as his/her support system. I wondered how in these few years the definition of love either changed or it was always this way...
"I love you...i will die without you" i heard another voice among those last benches...
"I love you too..." She accepted his chocolates as she walked out and attended the phone call...
"Oh...hi baby...yes just ended classes...oh no you dont need to come...okay if you insist...bring your car its too hot to move on your bike "
I heard the same girl with two different personalities. I could understand that she was double gaming two guys at one time. I felt pity for both the guys who seemed to love her genuinely....
Once i saw someone fighting...here in the empty classroom itself...the problem was the growing importance of a third member in the relationship...
"Why? Why is he so important that you hadto cancel our date for him ?" He asked...
"Come on dont be possessive... He is just a friend..."
"Really? So if you know he likes you why are you flirting around?" He asked ..
"Offo...you are overreacting please okay i am tired of it..."
I knew that she was in love with the first guy at the beginning...but the entry of someone else made her decision change... That was another story i witnessed where it ended up in breakup...
Other stories include where the person knows what he/she means to the other one but despite their answer always in a "no" they be with them , for them to build castles in air...
However there were some genuine tales too....but since i talked about these seasonal love all i noticed was that, they were mere source of entertainment for the time being which got over everyday they left my premises and started the moment they stepped in....
They wont ever change...may be someday the definition of love will change into something called...
