It is very unbecoming for us now to ask women to rate or even feel like we have the right to rate women based on their appearance.
It makes me mad that women are now feeling lesser than they should just because some standards society sets are not being fulfilled.
A woman labelled herself as black/tanned just because her skin is not as fair as her peers’.
One woman think she should go to the gym more often even when she stands at 172cm weighing less than 55kg.
It's like there is this thing called "being under 50kg" that is to be considered as ideal.
I know this does not apply to every part of the world but the fact that a majority of South East Asian nations think of women as objects than persons makes me mad.
I'm all about body positive but not when you are allowed to be body positive but someone else is not supposed to because they don't look nice in your eyes.
That's the thing about society that really boiling me off. Women are put on the stage as objects to evaluate.
Everyone feels it's OK for them to points out imperfection in women.
Anorexia is an eating disorder that is commonly associated with women rather than men. Why?
Because women are pressured to look certain ways. If you deviate from that, you're under appreciated and not as valuable.
Have you been scrolling through your instagram and notice how all the hot/pretty/beautiful girls look the same?
Because at one point I was trying to look for variation in the definition of beautiful and I could not find any.
It is sad to know we have undo the exact definition of beautiful and repackage it into something that has no variations.
A stereotype basically.
It makes me mad that we are having a wide varieties of solutions to provide to women's insecurities.
We never prevent.
We only shell out the cures.
