A single ray pierces the darkness
A solitary rose blooms
From within the writhing mists and shadows
A fearsome creature stirs.
The baleful red eyes are filled with anger
As it stumbles forward
A pair of rabbits try to run away
Crimson rivers adorn its maw.
Long it searches through the hazy world
To satisfy its hunger
Yet no matter where it turns
The aching hole persists.
Out of the corner of its eye
It sees the blossoming bloom
Slowly, peace steals over it
As the scent of love wafts away.
And with a final gentle caress
The monster falls by its saviour
As it retreats from the dark world
It frolics in the land of light.
