Something Unjustified

So, well, I just have always had this thing about the phrase 'meant to be'. WHY? Why is something 'meant to be'? Meant to be always eliminates the possibility of miracles, but have you ever wondered what miracles are? Maybe they are just the way 'meant to be' happens. Let's take the simple example of boy meets girl, they met because they were 'meant to meet' and according to people there wasn't a single possibility that they could meet but they did. Now the way they did, PEOPLE called that a miracle. God decides how long a person should live but when they are saved by doctors on the verge of dying, IT'S A MIRACLE! Wouldn't they have lived without medical treatment if it was meant to be?

Maybe challenging this phrase isn't common, maybe it isn't also truly justifiable, but maybe it is wrong too? I mean, Catholic Church was wrong on the concept of Earth being the centre of Universe? We were born because we left those 1,00,000 million other sperms behind. What is, is everything we created for us.

I Goggled 'meant to be'- it said 'meant to be' is something 'destined to exist'. But then destined to exist eliminates the possibility of choices . Whatever choices we make, we're always destined to what we are destined. This further led me to believe, challenge actually, what spirituality teaches us- "God gives us a choice" But what is a choice if not for a different result with a different choice. Is the end going to be different in the end?

The more we ponder over this, the more loopholes we create, the more confusion we create. Maybe I would never get the answer to such questions, maybe I would. It depends on what I make of my 'destiny', it'll always depend on my choices. But for now, I'm glad of all my choices and if things are actually meant to be, I'm glad they were meant to be THIS way for me.

Are you glad?.
