Staying in love

We started with me approaching you 

I thought maybe you will fall for me too

It happened but I guess it didn't touch your heart 

All you wanted was to break my heart 

Because your past was too high for you to see our present or future 

I still wanted to stay because I was the one who fell for your scars and its features 

Fake "I love you's" melted my feelings but you wanted to play when my heart was healing 

You had the rights to go to others and reason "even I have my personal space " 

But I should abandon others because they don't give us our space 

You know what darling I did exactly that, I hated the people whom you hated 

Even though it required me to loose all my friends 

I thought if I will be with you then even you'll be with me , that's exactly what I  trusted you with 

Trust me you don't know the feeling when  trust is broken and the feeling when the heart breaks 

By saying "you must not expect anything from me" didn't you expect something in the relationship?

All  I wanted was reassurance that you are worth fighting for 

Thanks for teaching me that every one is the same in this world 

And no one is with someone unless there's a reason behind 

Other than love.. .
