Stopped Time

I have always wondered why

Time flies so fast when you're happy

And so slow when you're about to cry.

So fast when you're enjoying

And so slow when you feel like dying.

So fast when promised forever,

And so slow when the promise gets endeavored.

Time flied so fast when I was with you.

And so slow when you made me feel blue.

All the moments that we shared

From the chaos, they were all spared.

The little things and the big surprises,

The best ones sorted on small devices.

In my mind where they are all stored 

They replay like water being poured.

I would give anything to take the pain away,

Maybe not completely, but just to keep it at bay.

I did my best to fight for you, my lover

But I guess I wasn't as lucky as a clover.

I thought I was hard and strong

With you I thought is where I belong

But it was all a delusion I, myself, created

A delusion where loving me wasn't even stated.

From the highest peak of happiness I was suddenly dropped

Forever trapped in a world with you gone and where time stopped.
