Once there was a girl, lived in her own fairy tale, Daydreaming loser, people called her. Black sheep of the family. But they didn’t know she had magic in her brain that, when she imagined and sat down to write, it ran in her veins and into the paper. Somewhere in between, while falling into the deep well of regret and worthlessness, she found the Magic, after she found it, she never let it go. She wrote, with all her heart. She searched for the website through which she could bring her work into the world then she found LAUNCHORA. She wrote under a pseudonym, not wanting to share her magic with her haters.
But like every good story, this had a twist too. Soon life caught up with her. Studies, College, Events, parties, friends and a Club, (Rotaract Club) for which she worked day and night. She was the Director of Public Relations and Sports of the Rotaract Club OF Mithibai College. She had to meet and manage people, Campaign about the various community service events organised by her club, handle various Social media uploads, Organise events, meet new people, do some content writing, manage celebrities and a lot more. After that she took up a few summer internships, a content development and a summer camp where she was made to handle 30 kids for 7 days! And the best part? The kids loved her back! Even after a year she still gets their messages sometimes! But due to all this, her time spent on writing started decreasing day by day and one day it stopped altogether.
In between all this, she lost her magic somewhere. She tried a lot to get it back but to no avail. She lost all hope. She lost the only thing that made her, her. She was upset and in that misery she uninstalled Launchora. Her fate did not want her to write anymore and she had accepted it.
But one day a notification email caught her eye and she Squealed! She clicked on the mail and the next thing she knew was that the dream she had ‘day dreamt’ about all these years was what she was reading about! Oh, how she would love to have her magic back. How she dreaded not having it. She cried that night. Why did magic leave her? Was she not worthy enough, just like everyone thought?
No. She was worth it. She not only met all the criteria needed to be applicable, she had experience too. She was over 18, She LOVED reading, She had experience in how to handle social medias and people, she had a computer and she LOVED storytelling! She woke up the next day and began writing, she realised the magic had never left her; it was there all along she just had to believe in herself.
This story proves that you don’t always need Knights in shining armours to save you. Damsels in distress can learn how to fight too!
For all the people, who have loved the wrong person, Sweetheart you need to learn to kick his ass.
