Sunrise

When I saw the sunrise today, it was the first time I've actually focused and watched it thoroughly.

I almost have a nocturnal life, but I've never cared to watch the sunrise before I end my reign of darkness with a short, temporary death.

The thing about sunrise is that it's simple.

It's simple to understand it scientifically, it's simple to taste it's elegance, and it's simple to put it in a thousand analogies to convey the concept of beauty.

What makes sunrise really special, is that no matter how pessimistic you are (trust me on this), you always know that sunrise means a new start regardless of the polarity and/or the nature of this start.

Sunrise is our mark of a new day, the beginning of activity, and of the rise of our movement.

If we view a full day as a classical music concert, the sunset would be its adagio* movement (sometimes even its adagissimo**), while the sunrise would be its allegro*** movement that would sometimes reach the level of being allegrezza****.

Make sure to experience the full concert every once in a while.

You never know the full meaning that an orchestra is conveying unless you listen to the whole thing.

*adagio: at ease; i.e., play slowly

**adagissimo: very, very slow (Sometimes melancholic)

***allegro: cheerful or brisk; but commonly interpreted as lively, fast

****allegrezza: cheerfulness, joyfulness
