Sveta Sotnikova — An Emerging Fashion Designer

A new generation of global fashion designers is set to enter the industry. They are full of faith. That's the conditio sine qua non for every young designer who has decided to go along with alone for their label today. Let us count the sensitive situation the designers must face if they need to navigate to let their own particular fashion flag fly.

They can experience the sheer joy of making precisely what they want – but they'll need to work hard to ensure it's being made in ways that are accountable and respectful of what new generation of consumers wish to find and buy: first unique items, then great consumer experiences accompanied by the ability to tell intriguing stories about the values of their fashion labels.

New young designers need to know something to have 100-percent clarity about what their label stands for, both rationally and emotionally. They must first understand how they want to inspire consumers, and then all the following measures and actions must follow those definitions. It sounds easy to do, but, in reality, it's incredibly complicated to be clear and able to convey their values properly.

Only new labels able to create relevant and authentic messaging across all measures and touchpoints will compete with these more authentic and agile brands for different generations' euros. Their clothes must say something about the world – or their world. Today is relevant to be attentive to the environmental predicament. For these indies, Fashion is a solo act where the only way to look is forward: sustainability, craft, gender identity, and, last but not least, making utterly thrilling and audacious clothes.

Sveta Sotnikova is the designer we take inspiration from in the fashion industry and is rising to become a successful designer. She has had a very diverse career line. Sveta Sotnikova was a former model and also worked in the acting industry. In the early years of her professional life, Sveta got to experience all areas of the fashion industry to be sure about what she wanted to do and what she enjoyed the most. At last, after attending many fashion shows as well, Sveta was confident that she would become a fashion designer.

Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Her skills to become the next top fashion designer is the founder and Creative Director of Sveta Milano, where she creates collections of grunge and romantic. She explores that polarity in her garments' construction to symbolize the beauty of inclusivity and to redefine what a garment can be.
