She paced faster as he was almost running away from her. She called him a fewer times but to no use as he kept on ignoring her voice while he walked ahead of her a way too faster…
"Dhruv please at least listen to me"
She pleaded holding her breath as she breathed hard and stopped… she sat there over the benches in the lawn while she waited for him to come to her…and as expected he did walk up to her…
Lazily she rested her head over his shoulder while she pressed her eyes closed. He wanted to speak up but he didnt have that much of guts left to be away from her. Alina was like his elixir to life.…but too hard to get just like water in a sandy desert…
"I love you" she said rubbing his hand in slow motion…
He remains silent just letting her speak as she continues…
"I know ..we dont have a future together…we cannot be together like we dreamt of…but cant we be this way just for the moments we have with us?" She questioned him…
He looked at her as she raised her head and met his tempting gaze…
"There is nothing like something that is in between Alina…either you do or you dont…the middle thing never existed in love" he said…
"But can't we be this way! So what if there isnt an intermediate one…so what if Christians and Hindus dont get married? So what if i dont belong to the people your parents want…we can be this way till how long its possible…lets not think about the future and live in this present" she said adamant…
"Alina…"
"This campus can you see around…no one cares what happens here .…not even your parents …lets do it Dhruv…I promise not to meet you again after this….not even my shadow will cross you…I promise…just here…we will have it all here…"
She said…
Before he could utter a word she locked up her lips with his…he kissed her back invading her skin below her top as he took her in his arms…Things happened really quick that none could get a hold of themselves…
Soon they were involved in a relationship which didnt have a face or a name…it was something others named to be just for fulfilling each others desires but they knew why they had to choose that path…
Dhruv made sure Alina was happy with him….but little did they knew that something harsh was on the way…
"I need to leave now" she said as he was lying near her fondling her bosom…
He raised his head as his eyes met hers. She kissed his lips as he spoke up…
"Why?"
"Uhm…i am leaving for home today"
She said as she sat up covering herself…
"But…"
"Dhruv…I will be back in a week" she said as she collected her clothes and walked into the washroom…
He sat up confused as he looked at her who was back in a bathrobe…
"Alina…can you just stay back?" He asked…
"Uh no its urgent…" she said…
"Wait.. Alina is it something about your wedding?" He asked suspiciously…
She remained silent as she turned to face him. He walked up to her as he held her by her shoulder and spoke up…
"Is it?" He asked again…
She looked down as he slowly pulled out the knot of her bathrobe. Holding her closer by her bare waistline he went a bit down and spoke up…
"I love you"
She smiled a little as both lost themselves in the kiss that followed. He carried her to bed as they made out all over again…

1 YEAR LATER…
"So did you get married?"
Alina smiled at him as they met for the first time after she left him midway that day…
"Not yet" he answered with a smile…
"So are there any plans…"
He sighed…as their eyes met for the first time since the last twenty minutes
..
"I had a plan…but then i remembered …i am already tangled up in the chains of an un-named relationship…the chains how hard i try to break keeps getting tightened up leaving me bound in them like forever .."
Their eyes met as she never answered to his words. She simply bid him adieu as she walked away all over again…this time…never to meet again…
