It slowly curls upto me
Comes up
Comes close
Like a lover,
Touches my everything
I try to listen
The secrets it might be carrying
For it travelled far and wide
It refuses to tell
I smell the bliss it carries on it
I give myself to be touched again
Hoping to lure it into telling me the secrets
Instead it whispers into my ears
The pitter patter song of rain
I ask again
More firmly
I demand
I command
It kisses me on lips
And says
"I am wind , my love
I carry only rain
I shed the secrets far behind
Into the empty hearts of broken souls"
