Thank God for You

“I never thought a love like this could exist.”

Felt like yesterday when I met you way back in high school. Back then, people used to tease you about your little crush on me and now we’re here at our 20s figuring out where our lives will take us, figuring out how this adulting thing works, figuring out all the answers to all our ‘what ifs’ and more. I’m just glad we’re doing it all together. 

I’m just so glad we’re able to see how we are growing individually in our own ways. So glad I have someone to tell stories about how my every day went. I can literally talk to you about anything and everything and that’s one of the million reasons why I thank God for you. 

It’s simply amazing how one person can walk into your path and change your life in a way you never thought could happen. 

You changed some of my ways like how I changed some of yours and it feels so nice having the assurance that other than your family, there’s someone who wants nothing but the best for you. 

You know, my list could go on forever if I enumerate why I thank God for you but one thing is for sure, God Himself knows how thankful I am cause He gave me You to be there with me always, have my back always, educate me on things I don’t know, protect me at all costs, support me in all the things I do and more. I don’t want to promise you anything but I’m doing my best to do the same. 

Thank you for loving me unconditionally. 

I will never stop thanking God for you because you are one of life’s greatest blessing.
